THE FULL SCOOP
tHE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT OF DOGGIE POOP
Just three doggie bags a day is over a 1000 a year and 80% of these end up in landfill
Biodegradable bags can take more than 25 years to break down in landfill or could even 'mummify' because of the lack of oxygen
Dog poop contains pathogens which produce harmful methane gas that is approximately 30 times more potent than greenhouse gases and carbon monoxide
When infected dog poop is deposited on your lawn, the eggs of roundworms and other parasites can linger in your soil for years
operation clean up: the poo patrol solution
Using The Poo Patrol ensures that none of your doggie poop ends up in landfill
Once we've collected the doody in our 100% recycled bags, it gets taken to a special facility where it gets turned into heating and electricity for public buildings including hospitals
When the poop is at the special facility, it gets treated in order to remove the harmful pathogens and gases that would otherwise be released into the atmosphere
We use fresh smelling bio-fertiliser to wash away any residue helping to keep your garden free of harmful bacteria and parasites
